A fine collection of 7 large-format limited edition lithographs by J.D. Challenger (American, 1951–2023) — each signed in stone and in pen, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. One of the most celebrated painters of Native American life and spirituality of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

J.D. Challenger was born in Oklahoma and later moved to Taos, New Mexico, where he developed a deep personal connection to Native American culture and traditions. After witnessing a Ghost Dance ceremony, he discovered his artistic mission — to paint the stories of a people rich in heritage, spirituality, and resilience. Working in oils, acrylics, and watercolor, as well as through prints, Challenger's portraits and ceremonial scenes capture a profound depth of humanity and spiritual power that has earned him an ardent collector base across the United States. His paintings have reached $19,200 at auction, and his limited edition prints remain actively sought by collectors of American and Native American art.
