FUR-099 Paul Evans Att. — "Cityscape" Brass Wall Mirror, 24.5" × 24", c.1970s
A brass wall mirror in the attributed Paul Evans Cityscape manner — the signature geometric, faceted metalwork that defined Evans's most iconic series for Directional Furniture in the late 1960s and 1970s.
Paul Evans (1931–1987) is among the most collectible American studio furniture designers of the 20th century. His Cityscape series — inspired by the angular skylines of New York — brought an architectural, almost sculptural sensibility to functional furniture. Cityscape mirrors, consoles, and case pieces are now mainstay offerings at major auction houses and command significant premiums when signed.
This square-format mirror presents the characteristic stepped brass frame associated with the Cityscape vocabulary. Its compact 24.5" × 24" scale makes it highly versatile — ideal as a solo statement piece, or grouped with other brass and chrome objects in an MCM or transitional interior.
