A striking low cocktail table by Ron Seff, the New York designer known for luxury furniture in exotic and unconventional materials. Woven raffia is laid in a geometric marquetry pattern across the top and sides, catching light differently as you move around it. The edges are softly rounded, giving the piece a substantial but not heavy presence.
At 60 inches long and 48 inches wide, this is a generous, room-anchoring table — well suited to a large sectional or a conversation grouping. The warm neutral tone of the raffia works with both quiet, layered interiors and bolder mixes.
Seff's work sits alongside Karl Springer and Steve Chase in the Late Modern canon, and pieces in original raffia are increasingly difficult to find.
Condition Very good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use. One corner has a small missing section of raffia — pictured in the final photos. Structurally sound and ready to use.
