A rare and important collection of 13 original color lithographs by Joan Miró (Spanish, 1893–1983), each hand-signed by the artist in crayon or pencil and accompanied by an individual Certificate of Authenticity from Collectors Comp Inc. — published by Maeght Éditeur, Paris, extracted from multiple issues of the legendary art review Derrière le Miroir.

Derrière le Miroir ("Behind the Mirror") was one of the most significant art publications of the 20th century — launched in 1946 by the visionary dealer Aimé Maeght and published until 1982. Each issue was produced to coincide with an exhibition at Galerie Maeght in Paris, and featured original color lithographs — not reproductions — printed directly from the stone by the finest Parisian lithographic workshops including Mourlot and Arte Adrien Maeght. To own a Miró from Derrière le Miroir is to own a genuine piece of the artist's graphic output, from the most prestigious art publishing enterprise of its era.

Joan Miró was one of the towering figures of 20th-century art — a Surrealist master whose boldly colored, biomorphic compositions are instantly recognizable worldwide. His works are held in every major museum collection globally, including MoMA, the Tate, the Guggenheim, and the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona. Miró's prints and lithographs are among the most actively collected works on paper in the world.
