A sculptural Murano art glass vessel / lamp base attributed to Alfredo Barbini, executed in the pulegoso technique with a champagne ground and gold-amber accents. Classic baluster form with gently flared neck, internally suffused with the dense, finely dispersed bubbles that define pulegoso glass. Approx. 14.5 in. tall. 1930s. Good condition.
